Axon Awards are a series of prizes Axon awards from a peer-nominated basis for outstanding moments of heroism, bravery, and courage. The nomination pool is from those using Axon solutions as that is where the data from these moments is captured. In 2022 I built the award system for the RISE Awards, the first in our series of awards, and it focused on  body-worn camera captured footage. The system was full of gradients, bright yellows, and subtle motion that would look cool in a keynote presentation. Since then, the award system has rapidly grown and we now have 3 categories to recognize different types of stories. This rebrand is to unify the system and future-proof it so that it can grow alongside Axon. As each award system was selected by the executive team and for meaningful reasons, it was important that they each retain their own identity. My task here is to marry those identities with a distinct system.
