Gabi is a multi-disciplinary in-house designer specialized in brand marketing. She is drawn to fully considered visual storytelling that communicates use, feeling, function, and tone through design.


Gabi loves working in partnership with talented marketers to interpret data, insights, and observations into strategic visual language. She loves a tight brief, a kick off call, and a workback schedule.

For nearly a decade, Gabi has been honing her craft at various large brands, working in-house. She started her career in Seattle and has cut her teeth at companies such as Sotheby’s, Tommy Bahama, and Axon. She now resides in Portland, Oregon and works remotely in her second role at Axon as a Senior Enterprise Designer on the Marketing Team.

Outside of a screen, Gabi likes to create in new ways. Currently she enjoys shooting on her Fuji, painting in watercolor, and trying new recipes with her friends on crabbing trips in the San Juan Islands of Washington State.

In my career I have learned that design is about solving problems and not executing a pretty thing in a specific style. I love that as a Senior Designer I am able to leave my preconceived ideas of what I like at the door and make the right decisions for a brand. I love creating systems that can grow legs and run.

When given a brief to build a bridge, a good designer figures out how to get to the other side.
